Thanks for the fun ideas! Here are a few more cards for you to add to your set. As always, if you think of more just leave a comment! Here is the link to the PDF.
Again, new at this, sorry! Have a question - what is the best way to print these. They are so amazingly cute, I want them to look as good printed as they do on the screen. My printer won't do them justice.
I'm not sure about the printing - I've used an injet and a laser and they look about the same. You may want to take the PDF to a copy store and see if they have better resolution. Another option, if you're interested...I have an Etsy shop where I have a few of the things for sale. There is a link to it on the blog, called LDS Primary Props. I can make up a laminated set for you. I hope you can get it to work!
For the colored block idea; I used a dollar store paddle and removed the elastic and ball. I drilled 2 holes at the top and attached binder clips. I punched holes in about 10 blocks of 7x7" white paper containing 2 different colors on each paper (laminate the blocks of paper for durability). Flip the pages while singing the song, and children wearing those colors (include black & white), and those will be the ones that sing the song. Remind the children to really look and be aware of what colors they are wearing so they will be ready to sing when their color shows up. The children love this.
These are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!

Could you tell me where to find the original "fun idea cards"? I'm new to this calling and love these fun cues. Thanks!

Would you be able to do a loud and quiet one. I have a mouse and a lion that I would like to use. And thought it would be fun to add to the cards.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do with the colors one?
ReplyDeleteYou choose a color and everyone wearing that color sings!
