There are a lot of posts on other primary music blogs with ideas similar to this one, and it can be really handy at the beginning and end of primary when you're just trying to fill a few minutes. I just took a 4-inch square box and turned them into dice with various gospel topics that can relate to several different primary songs. It is a great way to use up a few minutes at the end of singing time, or can also be incorporated in lots of different review activities. Each dice has three topics that are the same, and three that are different from the other. So there are basically 9 different topics to choose from. Here is the link to the graphics, if you're interested! Have fun!

The ideas on here are great! I was recently called to be the chorister in my ward and I'm always on the hunt for great ideas. I just wanted to say thank you for posting yours! There are some that I will definitely be using!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is probably supposed to be self explantory...but I'm slow! So, a child rolls one die and picks a song about that topic?
ReplyDeleteKami,
DeleteYou got it right. You don't have to do both dice, I just had more topics that I wanted to use. Pick your favorites, and it'll be great!
